1. WRAP YOUR CELERY IN TIN FOIL

Exposing potatoes to direct sunlight makes them go bad faster. Place them in wooden or plastic boxes instead, and keep in dry and dark area.

12. CERTAIN FRUITS AND VEGETABLES SHOULDN’T BE STORED TOGETHER
Certain food and vegetables shouldn’t be stored together as some ripened fruits, such as mangoes, tomatoes, apricots, plums, melons, give off ethylene. Some fruits and veggies like potatoes, broccoli, carrots, and pumpkins are sensitive to ethylene, meaning that keeping them together speeds up the rotting process.
13. STORE ASPARAGUS AS YOU WOULD FLOWERS
To prolong the shelf life of asparagus, store it upright in a glass with water, just like you do with a bouquet of flowers.
14. BROCCOLI AND CAULIFLOWER NEED MOISTURE
